The Greens at Pelican Point is one of three subdivisions within the Pelican Iles Golf Community.It is an active community designed for those who are “55 years of age or better”. Currently there are approximately 130 completed residences consisting of garden homes and townhomes.Common areas include an activity center with a heated pool, a gazebo and lake, a park, and a Community Center.In April 2004, the Greens was chosen as the Best Active Adult Community by Big Builder Magazine ranking first among active adult communities of 500 units or less.It was also featured in a front page article in the Wall Street Journal (June 25, 2001).
The Greens at Pelican Point Homeowners Association, Inc. was established as a non-profit corporation on November 27, 2001.It was initially incorporated as the Courtyard at Pelican Point in Feb. 24, 2000.The first residents of the Greens were Wil and Vonnie Lowe followed shortly thereafter by Roland and Carmen Gravois.Since then there have been new filings added in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2008.
From the inception of the Homeowners’ Association until the common areas were conveyed in March 2006, it was managed by a Developer-selected Board of Directors. An appointed Advisory Board was also put in place which included some Green’s residents.On November 13, 2006, the first resident Board of Directors was elected by the homeowners.The presidents of the Advisory Board and the elected Board of Directors are listed below:

Purposes of the Corporation:(From the Amended Articles of Incorporation dated Nov. 27, 2001) Provide for the operation and management of the common areas located within the Greens. Provide for the maintenance, control, and preservation of the subdivision. Promote the health, safety and welfare of the owners and occupants of property within the subdivision.
